great buildings of the Egyptian monumental architecture of the New Kingdom.
- The Colossi of Memnon , the only remains of the funerary Temple of
Amenophis III.

Ombo . Visit Kom Ombo Temple the only double Temple in Egypt shared by the

Visit the High Dam
(one of the greatest in the world) , the Lyrical Temples of Philae (The Pearl
of the Nile ) rising from the waters of the Nile . |

Islands in the traditional felucca (sailing boat) viewing the Agha Khan
Mausoleum and the Botanical Garden (Kitchner Island). |

have the optional excursion to Abu Simbel to visit the overwhelming Temples of
Ramses II which were cut from their hillside origin in 1960 and repositioned in

is the Hypostyle Hall , the largest of any temple in the world covering an area
of 5356 sq. meters with its roof blocks supported by 134 colossal columns 70
